Died at St Vincent's Aged Care Services at Bronte on Friday September 7, 2018.
Son of Denis Jospeh McCarthy and Eileen Adeline Triggs (both deceased). Brother of Terry and John. Uncle of various nephews and nieces.
A missioner for many years and Province Leader for six years, Father Lawrence played a significant role in the ministry of the Canberra Province. His ministry in the parishes of Mayfield and Thirroul was greatly appreciated by his parishioners.
Mass of Christian Burial for Reverend Father Lawrence McCarthy will be offered at the Redemptorist Community Chapel, 24 Garden Street, Kogarah on Thursday September 13, 2018 commencing at 11.00am.l
The funeral will leave the chapel for the Redemptorist section of Rookwood Catholic Cemetery for interment at 2.00pm.
